Our story
Founded in 2013 on the belief that a group of committed women can create powerful change, our chapter meets four times a year to support local charities and non-profits. By pooling our donations, we make a significant impact in just one hour – proving that when women come together, extraordinary things happen.
Our Mission
We are driven by a shared commitment to community service, compassion, and philanthropy. Our goal is to create positive change by supporting charitable organizations that uplift our neighbours and strengthen our community. With 100% of donations going directly to local causes, we ensure every dollar counts.
Waterloo Region is one of the fastest-growing communities in Canada, and with growth comes the need for support. We believe in giving back to the community that supports us. By uniting our voices and our contributions, we maximize our impact and inspire others to do the same.
The power of 100 women and growing
Becoming a Member
Commit to an annual donation of $400 ($100 per meeting for 4 meetings).
100% of donations go directly to local charities and non-profits in Waterloo Region.
Membership renews automatically after 4 meetings unless notice is given.
Donations are required even if you did not vote for the selected charity.
Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory. Donation arrangements can be made in advance.
Tax receipts are provided by the selected charity.
How Voting Works
Members can nominate a local charity by submitting an Organization Fact Sheet at least one week before the meeting.
Charities must be based in Waterloo Region, established, and able to issue tax receipts.
Three charities are randomly selected to present at each meeting.
Each charity gives a 5-minute presentation followed by a Q&A session.
Members vote by secret ballot, and the charity with the most votes receives the group donation.
